Dublin jobs: Disneyland Paris holding auditions this weekend for dream performance roles

Anyone who fantasises of being a prince or princess, now is your time to shine!

Disneyland Paris are holding auditions for your dream job this weekend.

They will be heading to the Liffey Trust Studios to find Disney character look-alikes, Disney character performers, and parade performers.

And the best thing of all is that auditionees don't have to prepare anything in advance.

Character performers need to be spatially aware, energetic, and creative, with good physical stamina.

Those applying to be a parade performer must have a good level of dance is required through significant training and/or stage experiences.

Anyone who is dynamic, creative, meticulous and punctual should apply for any of the roles, especially if they love being part of a team in a multicultural environment.

The job advert reads: "If you are drawn to the artistic world, your experience in animation, dance or acting could enable you to be part of our magical experiences which make dreams a reality for our guests.

"Join one of the biggest stages in Europe by applying for one of our auditions."

These positions are open for short-term and open-ended contracts.

Contract start dates available through a six-month period following the audition.

Short-term contract lengths are for a minimum of four months and housing possibilities are available.

Successful candidates requiring a Visa to work in France will be informed of the necessary application process.

These positions may include some night work and are subject to French law which requires candidates to be 18 years of age to legally work in France in accordance with the protection of young workers.

Step one

Prior to arriving at the audition venue, please visit disneyauditions.com and click "My_Profile" to create a performer profile. This only takes a few minutes and will save you time on the day of your audition.

Step two

On the day of the audition, one the Disneyland Paris representatives will be present between 9:00am and 9:30am at the entrance of the building to distribute time slots for the day’s audition.

Auditionees will not be asked to prepare any material prior to arrival.

They are confident that they will be able to see the majority of candidates but if numbers go beyond expectations, candidates will be assigned audition slots based on a “first come, first served” basis.
