Dealz have opened Pepco stores in Dublin at Carrickmines and Omni Park in Santry.
The Pepco brand is owned by Dealz parent company Pepco Group, which is headquartered in Warsaw, Poland. Pepco Group also owns Poundland in the UK.
The new Pepco store in Carrickmines opened on October 1, while the store in Omni Park in Santry had its grand opening on September 19. The move to introduce the Pepco retail brand in Ireland follows a trial in Spain and saw the value retailer combine offerings from both of the group’s Dealz and Pepco brands.

This will include a full range of fashion, general merchandise and homewares. It is also understood that the new Pepco stores will have more children’s clothing on offer compared to existing Dealz stores.
A Dealz spokesman told Dublin Live: "“We’re trialling a small number of Pepco-branded stores in the Republic of Ireland. They bring together clothing, general merchandise and FMCG items under one roof with the same look and feel of a successful recent pilot of stores in Spain.
"To get a trial up-and-running quickly, we’ll be converting existing Dealz stores in six locations to the Pepco brand. Omni, Newbridge and Carrickmines are now open with Finglas and Galway coming soon.
"We’ll also open a Pepco in Tallaght early in 2023. We’re looking forward to seeing how customers react to this well-established, fast-growing European brand that is part of PEPCO Group. The first five stores we’ve opened will create an additional 60 roles to the existing Dealz teams.”
Dealz now has around 80 stores across Ireland and the first store opened in 2011. In 2021, the retailer opened its first Irish distribution centre in Clonee in Co Meath, which led to the creation of 60 new jobs.
The group currently operates 3,795 stores across 15 European countries. Other locations that will open as Pepco stores before Christmas include shops in Galway and in Finglas, with a store to open in Tallaght early next year.
