A talented Dublin artist has revealed how more and more Irish people are trying out henna tattoos.
Ritu Jain, who is a professional henna artist, said she is delighted to be able to share her culture with the people of Ireland. Mum-of-one Ritu, who moved to Ireland from India in 2018, told Dublin Live: "I love Ireland.
"There is no that kind of difference like ‘I’m an Indian’ and ‘I’m an Irish’. People are so nice to me."

Ritu's love for henna art began in her childhood and has blossomed into a professional career. Recently she's seen a big jump in Irish clients.
She said: "I started doing the henna art with Indian people but now a lot of Indian people are getting married to Irish guys. They get together, dance, and do small designs. Irish people love to get small patterns like butterflies and flowers."
The extroverted 34-year-old who works as a part-time retail supervisor said she loves interacting with people. "People are so welcoming here. I love it."
Ritu, who does henna designs for most occasions, said her busiest periods are usually around the Hindu festival of Karwa Chauth when married women follow a strict fast for the longevity of their husbands' lives.
You can book an appointment with Ritu by contacting her on her Facebook and Instagram.
