Dublin group is hosting exciting online event for International Women's Day

A Dublin group has announced an exciting event for all women entrepreneurs this International Women's Day.

Dublin Celebrations is asking female business owners to "take over" their social media pages as part of a promotional event on March 8. Co-founder Rohit Srivastava told Dublin Live: "This is a great opportunity for them to promote their businesses for free.

"We are also offering personalised banners to those who may not have promotional material." Rohit said the group wants to support and boost local female business owners.

You can promote your business on the Dublin Celebrations page by creating a poster or promotional video with a short summary of your products and services and sending it via email at dublincelebration@gmail.com. Rohit is also calling on people to share stories of the most inspirational women in their lives.

These stories will be shared on the Dublin Celebrations Facebook page and the winning entry will receive a fun gift hamper. All you need to do is send a few lines of around 100 to 120 words on the most influential woman in your life and two photos to Dublin Celebrations.

Dublin Celebrations was formed by a group of Indian immigrants who moved to Ireland. The group hosts a number of celebrations to bring the Indian and Irish communities together.

This year, they will be hosting exciting events to celebrate Pride and the Indian festival of Diwali.
