A Dublin cuddle gathering is taking place for people seeking a 'different form of intimacy'.
A friendly cuddle gathering is taking place in The Wholehearted Nest off Capel Street on Friday, June 24 to help attendees with things like intimacy, touch, consent, and boundaries.
The event will be hosted by Aurah Dominica and Lynne Boles, and is designed for those who are seeking a "different form of intimacy" as well as people who like to practice working with consent and boundaries and have a desire to be held.
The event is fully clothed and aims to create "a playful nurturing atmosphere that practices clear conscious communication, non-sexual platonic intimacy and self awareness exercises".

It begins at 7pm with the doors being locked at 7.15pm. Once the doors are closed, nobody else is allowed entry.
Speaking to Dublin Live, Aurah explained that events like this can help people feel empowered through touch as well as help them feel safe and nourished.
Aurah explained that one of the main draws to events like this is the "intentionality" of it.
She revealed that some pairs start off cuddling by themselves but then eventually join the "cuddle puddle" to experience the "collective love in one space".
The whole event is structured around consent and boundaries and people can enter the space without feeling any pressure to do anything.
Aurah told Dublin Live that the event is designed for people who are ready to be "courageous with love and spirit" and exercise intimacy skills.
Aurah, whose real name is Colleen McCoy, has been practicing different bodywork modalities since 2006.
Over the last decade, she has worked intimately with men, women and couples seeking to discover more through conscious sexuality.
Tickets for the friendly cuddle gathering cost €30 for single females, €35 for single males and €50 for couples and are available through Eventbrite.
