Dublin City Council confirm date Capel Street will be made permanently traffic free

Dublin City Council has revealed the date that Capel Street will be made car free.

The street is set to be pedestrianised from May 20, becoming the longest car-free corridor in Dublin.

A Dublin City Council sub-committee approved the proposal last month.
