Dublin Airport are seeking search unit officers as part of a new recruitment campaign.
Duties of an airport search unit officer include screening passengers and staff in line with regulations, as well as handling items recovered from the security screening process. There are a variety of contracts on offer to suit different schedules.
The positions up for grabs include a 40 hour contract, a 30-40 hour contract and a 20 hour weekend contract. All roles are offered on a permanent basis with up to five weeks of training taking place following the hiring period.

Perks of the roles include free car parking during working hours, access to a company pension scheme and subsidised staff meals at breakrooms. The hourly rate of pay will increase from €15.34 to €15.88 later this month.
Applicants will need to undergo a background check prior to hiring, which includes Garda vetting. A pre employment medical test will also be carried out, which includes a colour vision test.
Flexibility is also required as the roles operate on a 24/7 shift environment. Candidates can submit their application via Indeed for consideration.
