Dublin Airport is requesting passengers to make alternative travel arrangements due to limited car parking spaces.
Car parks at the airport are almost at capacity as the weekend nears. Passengers travelling to the airport are encouraged to make alternative travel arrangements where possible.
Dublin Airport wrote on Twitter: "If you don’t have a booking then please make plans to travel to Dublin Airport via an alternate method such as by bus, taxi or by being dropped off by a friend or relative."
Passenger numbers have soared recently as summer travel begins. The airport welcomed approximately 425,000 passengers over the June Bank Holiday weekend.

The daa previously rebuffed suggestions from Ryanair to temporarily use surrounding land for additional car parking spaces. A daa spokesperson described the view as "simplistic" and said the measure would require extensive planning permission.
