Dublin Airport Hopper bus service to return on Tuesday

The Airport Hopper service will return this week after being suspended for almost three years.

The bus service stopped operating in March 2020 due to Covid-19 but is making a comeback under new management. Their original Maynooth to Dublin Airport route that serves Leixlip, Lucan and Liffey Valley will return on Tuesday December 20 at 4am.

Adult return tickets are priced at €19.95 while students can avail of a reduced price of €17.95. TFI Leap cards are accepted and infants under 18 months can travel for free on the bus.

The Tallaght route that the previous service provided will be reinstated in January, with the exact date to be confirmed. Airport Hopper also said they are considering adding new stops to the bus routes.

They wrote on social media: "As we have previously stated, this will be a process getting the service fully operational and adding new stops etc. With that, for now, the service will only be operating the Maynooth - Dublin Airport (incl return) service. This service covers Maynooth, Leixlip, Lucan, Liffey Valley and Dublin Airport."
