Dublin Airport has announced that both its long-term and short-term carparks have sold out for this weekend. The limited availability of car parking spaces is sure to cause problems for passengers travelling a long distance to the airport.
In a statement on Twitter, Dublin Airport said: “Car parking @DublinAirport is very busy for the weekend ahead, we are sold out across Long Term and Short Term car parks from Saturday through Sunday.”
The news comes after travel experts warned earlier this year that demand for parking would outweigh supply over the peak summer months. The closure of a private car park, QuickPark, initially closed during the Covid pandemic but never reopened, has also impacted supply, reports Irish Mirror.
