Dublin Airport has called time on its much-loved washing line and cloud graphics that have long kept passengers entertained in Terminal 1.
The graphics were found along the arrivals corridor that brought you to passport control and were always guaranteed to put a smile on your face despite the post-holiday blues kicking in.
The clouds contained uplifting phrases and jokes such as "eventually, everything will connect" and "which of this clouds as all my data?". Meanwhile the long washing line had typical Irish mammy expressions including "a little birdie told me" and "close the door! You weren't born in a barn."

The mural has been around for several years but Dublin Airport has decided to make a change. Announcing the news, Dublin Airport said: "The clouds have parted and the washing has been taken in at Dublin Airport…
"Our much talked about word clouds and clothes line graphics have been retired. Stay tuned for some new installations - coming very soon!"
