Dublin actor Colin Farrell 'couldn't be more excited' as The Penguin gets spin-off tv show

Colin Farrell said he “couldn’t be more excited” as it was confirmed he will star as The Penguin in a new spin-off show.

The limited series, which follows the box office success of Matt Reeves’ The Batman, has officially received the green light from streaming service HBO Max.

Dubliner Farrell will reprise his role as underworld kingpin Oswald Cobblepot.
