Dua Lipa has spilled the beans on her relationship status, after she was seen enjoying an "intimate dinner" in New York with Daily Show host Trevor Noah.
The pair were spotted looking cosy during the meal which was followed by a goodbye kiss on the cheek outside the restaurant. The 27-year-old singer and 38-year-old comedian hugged in the street before going their separate ways.
Fans went crazy over the encounter and quickly took to social media to buzz about a possible romantic connection between Dua and Noah.
Dua has now opened up about her dating life on the latest episode of her podcast Dua Lipa: At Your Service and said she is currently enjoying single life.
"For me, this is the first year I've not been in a relationship for a very long time. It's been really great to just be alone and only think about myself and kind of be quite selfish," she said in conversation with fellow musician Charli XCX.
Dua also noted she has "never really had the opportunity" to focus on herself before.
The One Kiss singer had split from her on–off boyfriend Anwar Hadid in December 2021 and Trevor reportedly broke up from his partner Minka Kelly in May 2022.
Earlier this year, Dua admitted she was making some healthy changes in her life, including quitting smoking, ahead of her world tour.
"I had laryngitis [last] December and that kind of kickstarted me quitting smoking a month earlier than I was supposed to. But I did it and I have stuck to it," she said previously.
"I have this habit tracker on my phone where every night I tick off all the good things I have done for my body and things I have done for myself," Dua told The Sun.
Speculation about Trevor's and Dua's relationship status comes after TV star Trevor revealed it’s the end of the road for him and his much loved late night talk show The Daily Show.
The star has hosted the satirical news show on Comedy Central since 2015 – but he will now be stepping down from the role.
In a statement shared on Friday, he declared that he was "filled with gratitude for the journey" but that there was "another part of my life that I want to carry on exploring".
He told fans: "It's been wild, truly wild.
"I remember when we first started... so many people didn't believed in us," he said. "[Appointing me as host] was a crazy bet to make. I still think it was a crazy choice, this random African.
"I just [find] myself filled with gratitude for the journey. It's been absolutely amazing. It's something that I never expected."
