Dry Weather in Brazil Boosts Sugar Prices

March NY world sugar #11 (SBH25) Friday closed up +0.61 (+2.88%), and March London ICE white sugar #5 (SWH25) closed up +10.80 (+1.96%).

Sugar prices Friday jumped to 1-week highs and settled sharply higher after updated weather forecasts called for below-normal rain over the next week in Brazil's Center-South, the country's main sugar-growing region.
