Dry Conditions in Brazil Support Sugar Prices

May NY world sugar #11 (SBK25) today is up +0.17 (+0.95%), and August London ICE white sugar #5 (SWQ25) is up +6.60 (+1.31%).

Sugar prices today are moderately higher, with London sugar posting a 2-week high.  Dry weather in Brazil may curb sugarcane yields and is boosting prices.  Brazil forecaster Somar Meteorologia said the chances for rain in Brazil's sugar-growing regions look limited into next week.
