Drunk mother tells van full of children ‘I’m not responsible if you die’ before crashing

A drunk mother was filmed telling a van full of children “I’m not responsible if you die” as she drove at speeds of 80mph before crashing.

Faye Dawson, 50, from Cheadle has been sentenced to one-year-and-two-months in prison, after pleading guilty to dangerous driving at a previous court hearing.

She was also disqualified from driving for four years-and-seven months.

Footage shows Dawson losing control of the Vauxhall Cross she was driving on Delphouse Road in Cheadle on March 7, last year.

There were five passengers in the car at the time, four of which were injured.

Dawson had been travelling at 80mph whilst driving on the wrong side of the road in the lead up to the incident.
