A drunk man was kicked off a Ryanair flight after being "too excited" for his first holiday in years.
Ashley Crutchley, 27, boarded the flight to Portugal with a friend before becoming argumentative with the crew.
The airport police were called and as he was asked to leave, a crew member handed officers a bottle of duty free vodka with a third of its content's missing, which had been confiscated from Crutchley.

The police officer walked in front of Crutchley as he disembarked the Ryanair flight but Crutchley ‘shunted’ him forward and said: “Come on then, mate, come on.” He was then escorted off the plane.
Officers went back onto the flight to ask his friend, who had not been disruptive, to leave, and were met with rapturous applause from other holidaymakers.
The incident was heard before Manchester Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, Manchester Evening News reports.
Pleading guilty to being drunk on an aircraft and assaulting an emergency worker, Crutchley was fined £320 (€377).
The court heard that on July 10 at around 8pm, PC Green, who is based at Manchester Airport, was requested by the captain of the flight to attend at Terminal 3. When he arrived he spoke to the captain who said Crutchley had refused to leave the plane and had been arguing with the crew.
“Officers went onto the aircraft and found the defendant in row 15 and asked him to leave.
“He verbally protested, before he stood up and demanded the officer take his bag and carry his belongings.
“Officers immediately could tell the defendant was under the influence of alcohol. One of the crew members was standing behind the defendant when they handed the officers a bottle of vodka with a third of its contents missing," prosecutor Paul Sumner said.
The officers suspected that Crutchley had been drinking from the bottle, which shouldn’t have been opened, prior to boarding, Mr Sumner said. They instructed him to leave and walked ahead of him, during which Crutchley shunted PC Green.
The other officer grabbed hold of his arm and restrained him as they marched him off the flight. He was heard shouting ‘Carry on, carry on’ as he was moved from the plane into the awaiting police van.
“The defendant’s friend hadn’t been disruptive but was asked to leave. The officers had been too busy to notice the other passengers, but when they went back to remove the second male, the passengers began clapping.”
Crutchley was said to have no previous convictions. His solicitor, Rodrigue Landu, said he was ‘extremely apologetic’ for what happened, and said that the booze ‘got the better of him’.
“He was excited about being on holiday - he had not been on holiday for 11 years,” Mr Landu said. “The assault on the emergency worker was an act of recklessness rather than intention of assault.
“The defendant was drunk and simply too excited.”
Crutchley, of Altrincham Road in Wythenshawe, was fined £320 (€377) and ordered to pay £85 (€100) court costs and £128 (€150) victim surcharge.
