Drunk driving suspect drops his children in gator-infested swamp as he flees police

A DUI suspect dropped his young children in an alligator-infested swamp as he attempted to evade police in Florida.

Isaac Kinsey, 27, rolled his car while being pursued by police in Lakeland before leaping into nearby water with a two-year-old and a baby in tow.

At one point, a police drone captured Kinsey leaving the toddler behind and falling into the water with the 10-month-old in his arms.

The children were taken to hospital and have been subsequently released.

Kinsey has been charged with eight misdemeanor offenses and three felonies.
