Drugs were found in a car abandoned in north Manchester following a police chase. Police on patrol in Crumpsall made the discovery on Saturday.
The Volkswagen Golf had been ditched after it was involved in a police chase earlier in the night. Officers seized both the car and a quantity of cannabis found inside.

A post on the GMP Manchester North Facebook page said: "#SEIZURE Officers from Cheetham Neighbourhood team were on patrol in the #Crumpsall area were they found an abandoned vehicle which had made off from officers earlier in the night. A search of the vehicle revealed a quantity of cannabis which was seized as was the vehicle. If you want to claim your car or drugs please get in touch 19164@gmp.police.uk #PCKhalil."
