Drug deaths in Scotland increase amid 'toxic supply' warning

DEATHS from drug use in Scotland rose by 11% last year, according to the latest figures.

New figures from National Records of Scotland (NRS) showed there were 1133 deaths because of drug use in 2025, 116 more deaths than there had been in the previous year.
