A former police dog who helped uncover a large drug-dealing ring has been given life-saving treatment after he was thought to be close to death.
Springer spaniel Bailey, 10, spent eight years as a cash, drugs and weapons detection dog with Humberside Police before retiring from service last year alongside handler Pc Chris Wright.
