Drivers warned petrol prices could rise as oil supply slashed by 2m barrels a day

People taking to the roads have been warned that petrol prices could rise yet again.

The news comes after it was confirmed oil production will be slashed by two million barrels per day.

The deal, agreed by members of the Organisation of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) and Russia, marks the biggest reduction by the group since the height of the pandemic in 2020.
