The production dates for the Speed Triple 1200 RS were from 2021 to 2023 and the production dates for the Speed Triple 1200 RR were from 2022 to 2023.

They are warning that: “During high outside temperatures and slow-moving traffic the radiator cooling fan could overheat, causing the fan’s electric motor to shut down and a warning icon to illuminate.

“Ignoring this message could result in leakage or spray of hot coolant. This can lead to the rider falling from the motorcycle resulting in bruising and fractures”.

It is understood that there are approximately 6 affected products that have been sold in the Republic of Ireland.

What to do:

Drivers are being asked to manually check if their vehicle is affected by this recall campaign.

They can visit the Triumph Motorcycles Safety Recall Search Page here and input their Vehicle Identification Number (VIN).
