Drivers are being warned to clear damp, everyday items from their cars this winter after experts revealed they could be encouraging mould growth inside vehicles.
Motoring specialists say common belongings such as gym bags, umbrellas, coats and dog blankets can trap moisture inside a car, creating the perfect conditions for mould to develop, particularly during cold, wet weather.
