Motorists in a Nottinghamshire village keep ignoring 'no right turn' signs at a junction. Residents in Keyworth have expressed concerns about drivers ignoring the signs at the end of Platt Lane, at the junction with the A606 Melton Road.
The 'no right turn' signage is there due to roadworks in the village and to help traffic flow. But some motorists are still turning right.
Officers from Nottinghamshire Police recently went to the site to monitor the junction. They spotted 14 drivers ignoring the signage in a short period of time.

Officers reported these drivers for the offence and will receive a fixed penalty. Police have advised motorists who want to turn right that they should use Browns Lane.
A Nottinghamshire Police spokesperson said: "Due to complaints from residents of Keyworth, officers have been tasked with enforcing the no right turn at the bottom of Platt Lane, at the junction with A606 Melton Road. Despite numerous warnings and signs, drivers are ignoring the no right turn and turning right.
"The no right turn is there to ensure the roadworks in the village cause as little disruption as possible. Sadly, 14 drivers were seen in a short period ignoring the warnings and signs. These drivers were stopped and reported for the offence and will be receiving a fixed penalty for the offence.
"Should you wish to turn right, please use Browns Lane. The no right turn is to ensure the traffic flows as well as possible given the roadworks and allows the buses to continue to operate in the village. We will continue to monitor the junction, using marked and unmarked vehicles - so please do not ignore the signs and turn right."
