A car expert has issued a warning over that a number of little-known registration plate rules could see drivers being hit with fines of up to £1,000.
Jon Kirkbright, sales director at Platehunter, specialises in buying and selling private number plates. Jon told the ECHO some people choose to rearrange the letters and numbers on their plates in order to make desirable words.
However, he has warned motorists against doing this as they could be hit with a huge fine.
