Driver who put Tesla in self-driving mode because he was asleep crashes into police car

A Tesla operating in Full Self-Driving mode crashed into an occupied California Highway Patrol vehicle on Interstate 80, injuring two officers.

The 22-year-old driver from Sacramento claimed he was asleep at the wheel at the time of the collision on 13 October.
