A driver has vented online after saying he saw Tesco staff filling up at a petrol station which was closed to the public. The incident appeared in a clip on Tiktok and concerns the Tesco branch in Hamilton, Leicestershire.
The Tesco station has been forced to turn away customers as a result of fuel plants across the UK struggling with a shortage of petrol. But one member of the public claimed he spotted that, while the station was closed and coned off, a member of staff was being allowed to fill up their car.
The unnamed man then posted a video of him confronting a worker at the petrol station and their colleague who was filling up on Tik Tok, reports LeicestershireLive. In the video, the Tik Toker says Tesco has "closed the petrol station", but staff are "getting petrol, all day long."
