A smart car driver plunged 35 feet down a lift shaft after she reportedly mistook an elevator for a parking spot.
The unnamed woman, 38, had been looking for a space in an underground car park in Stuttgart, Germany, on Saturday morning when she rammed the closed door of the elevator.
As the door burst open she fell down the shaft. Her car landed upside down but she miraculously managed to free herself.
