A Nottingham driver has said she is 'scared to get back in her car' after being involved in a hit-and-run crash. Jordan Box, 36, from Wilford, was one of the four motorists involved in a four-car crash on the A52 near the Nottingham Knight roundabout on Saturday, April 15.
The administrator said three vehicles had been struck by another motorist in a silver Vauxhall Corsa, who then sped away from the scene of the crash and later abandoned the car. No one is thought to have been injured in the crash, but Ms Box has been left with increased insurance payments and is reluctant to get back in her car.
"We were in the eastbound carriageway approaching the Nottingham Knight and then we all slowed down," she said.

"There were three of us that got hit and the offending vehicle very kindly took off. The other car must have made some kind of braking noise because I remember looking in time to see them smashing into the car next to me and knowing it would hit me as well.
"He hit another car, ricocheted into me, and then came to a stop after going into a van. I saw him reversing so I thought 'oh he's going to move out of the way' but after about 30 seconds he just drove off.
"Luckily we were all unscathed, but from the footage I've seen he nearly caused another couple of accidents - how he managed to drive his car I don't know - it was ruined."
Ms Box said she was keen for the driver who caused the collision to be caught, passing on footage and witnesses contact details to the police. She added: "I'm trying to work around the cost of living crisis as it is, but now my insurance is going to skyrocket. My car is going to need a new door and wing mirror, but the third car came off the worst as the whole of the back of it had been pushed in.
"The first bloke, who got hit at speed, had his family in the car. I was frightened but I can't imagine how they would have felt.
"It was scary, it has made me a bit frightened to get back into the car. I've always been vigilant but now I look at other drivers like 'don't come near me, go away' please." Nottingham Police said its investigation into the incident is continuing and that any additional witnesses are asked to call 101 quoting incident 434 of April 15, 2023.
