A driver had a lucky escape after emerging unharmed from a dramatic crash in his new Jaguar XF. The owner had only had the car – prices for which start at £34,000 – for two days.
The car ended up on its roof in a field on Beaumont Road in Bolton. Greater Manchester Police said there had been no injuries in the incident, although they did not give further details about how the car came to be on its roof.
GMP Traffic said on Twitter in the early hours of Friday morning: “Second job of the night for #XT18 and it’s a car on its roof in a field on Beaumont Rd, Bolton. Driver has only had his Jaguar XF for 2 days. Luckily no injuries.”
