A driver has crashed into a Scots Tesco Express sparking an emergency response this evening.
Police scrambled to the store on Aberdour Road in Dunfermline after the alarm was raised at around 7pm on Thursday, April 21.
Pictures taken from the scene show the extensive damage caused as a result of the crash.
The grey Skoda can be seen inside the shop after smashing through the window of the premises.
A picture taken from the road shows the vehicle careered through the window, with smashed glass seen scattered across the pavement.
Officers can be seen speaking to shocked shoppers as they carry out enquiries.
Another picture taken from inside the shop shows various items scattered across the store due to the impact of the terrifying crash.
Incredibly, there are thankfully not believed to be any reported injuries as a result of the incident.
Recovery is being arranged for the vehicle.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We were called around 7pm on Thursday April 21, to a report of one car crash on Aberdour Road, Dunfermline.
"The road was not blocked and recovery arranged."
