A man has been arrested on suspicion of drink driving after a crash.
Police were called to Woodside Ferry Approach, near the ferry and bus terminal, at around 6.30am on Monday, May 2. At the scene, they found a black Tesla had crashed into a lamppost.
Officers arrested a 48-year-old man, from Bebington, on suspicion of drink driving. The suspect was taken into custody and will be questioned by police about the incident.

A Merseyside police spokesperson said: "We have arrested a man following a collision in Woodside this morning, Monday 2 May. At around 6.30am we received a report that a black Tesla car was in collision with a lamppost on Woodside Ferry Approach.
"Officers attended and arrested a 48-year-old man from Bebington on suspicion of drink driving. He will be taken into custody and questioned by police. Enquiries into the collision remain ongoing.
