Police have arrested a driver who was caught nearly three times the legal alcohol limit after smashing his car into a railing in Bolton.
Officers attended the incident on St George's Road, Halliwell, last night, where the car was found dramatically crashed into a roadside barrier.
The driver was found to be nearly three times over the drink-drive limit, blowing 103 micrograms per 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 micrograms.

A picture shared by Greater Manchester Police (GMP) shows a black BMW driven onto a pavement and crashed into a railing. Officers tweeted: "#ARREST | Officers from #DRelief Response attended reports of an RTC on St Georges Road, #Halliwell last night.
"The driver was found to be nearly three times over the legal limit of alcohol, blowing 103mg - the legal limit being 35mg."
