Dramatic photos have shown a car ablaze in the car park of a retail centre in the Scottish Highlands.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) rushed to the location in Tain at around 11.50am on Friday, February 4.
Images from outside the Home Bargains on Morangie Road show the rear of the Peugeot completely engulfed in flames.
Fire crews used two BA and a hose reel jet and worked to extinguish the fire before leaving the scene at 12.45pm.
Thankfully, the owner the car was safe and there were no casualties as a result of the incident.
An SFRS spokesperson said: "At 11.50am on Friday, February 4, a first appliance was mobilised to a car fire within supermarket car park in Tain.
"The car was well alight and was extinguished by two BA using hosereel jet.
"There were no casualties and crews left the scene at 12.45pm."
