The contract situation regarding Indianapolis Colts running back Jonathan Taylor is becoming a public matter.
While both parties typically like to keep these issues behind closed doors, Taylor’s agent, who he signed with this offseason, has taken to social media in regards to the negotiations.

This latest tweet came a day after he quote tweeted owner Jim Irsay, who noted that some agents are negotiating in bad faith.

It’s going to be difficult for Taylor to receive the top-dollar amount he may be searching for. Considering the state of the running back market, it’s difficult seeing Taylor getting $16 million per year.
Taylor currently is on the PUP list to open training camp, and how much of that is due to a potential holdout remains to be seen.
Hopefully, this issue can get resolved quickly and without further publicity.
