Drama in Wortley as armed police storm Leeds estate after fears gun was in house

Police Leeds West Yorkshire Police

Armed police were called to a residential street in Wortley yesterday, May 1, after reports of a firearm where a person was provided with medical support.

West Yorkshire Police and ambulance services raced to Clyde Walk in Wortley yesterday in response to reports of a firearm - it was later determined to be a BB gun.

A person was treated with medical support at the incident.
