Drake, the man who thought it was a good idea to start a rap beef with Kendrick Lamar, has made a cryptic post that has caught the attention of Australian fans. So, is Drake potentially coming to Australia for a tour?
The Canadian rapper shared a cheeky Instagram Story on November 12 that could be hinting at the return of the “Certified Lover Boy” to Australia, which would be first time Down Under in seven years.
The post in question featured a photo of Drake standing on a balcony with the Sydney Opera House in the background.
“It’s been like seven years,” read the post’s caption, followed by three of the 👀 emoji — an symbol universally used to turn subtle hints into very obvious ones.
Despite the fact that Drake did not communicate what is has “been like seven years” since, fans used a Sherlock-Holmes-level of deduction to infer he was talking about the last time he came to Australia — during his Boy Meets World tour in November 2017.
Drake’s most recent tour, “It’s All a Blur” finished after two legs across the United States and Canada.
Shortly after the post went live, Aussie fans of the ‘Not Like Us’ target began pre-emptively celebrating that the musician will be coming back to Australia.
If Drake comes to Australia wallah I’m not gonna know what to do with myself cuz

Is Drake doing an Australian leg of the ‘It’s All a Blur’ Tour?
As of yet, no upcoming Australian tour has been confirmed officially by Drake, his management, or ticketing agencies.
That said, this kind of hinting to generate hype simply has to mean something is stewing. Big “watch this space” energy.
In other news: by the time Drake visits Australia, it is likely that Aussies under the age of 16 will not be able to use social media.
Isn’t that interesting, and completely unrelated to anything.
