Young takes reins after Dragons part ways with Flanagan

Club legend Dean Young will coach winless St George Illawarra for the remainder of the NRL season after powerbrokers pointed to their "duty of care" as grounds for parting ways with Shane Flanagan.

The last-placed Dragons had already been on the longest losing streak in club history before Saturday's 30-12 loss to South Sydney made it 11 in a row.
