Steven Bartlett called it "one of the best pitches" he'd ever seen and he wasn't the only panellist on BBC's Dragons' Den to love Ben Pearson's business Big Clothing 4 U. The business does just what it says on the tin and supplies clothing to fit larger people.
Entrepreneur Ben's no-nonsense approach wowed each of the Dragons on BBC Dragons' Den with his ability to give straight answers. He attributes this to having autism. "It takes a lot of guts to be here so I want to inspire others and show them, where there is a will, there is a way," he said before making his pitch.
And that he did as he left the Den with a full investment of £150,000 and a 35% stake of the business for Touker Suleyman, whose background is in the fashion industry. Here's everything you need to know about Big Clothing 4 U.

What does Big Clothing 4 U sell and where can you buy it?
A huge range of different clothing is sold on the Big Clothing 4 U website. From casualwear to formalwear, sizes range from 2XL to 8XL. It sells clothes for men and women and also footwear, too. When did Big Clothing 4 U launch?
The business was launched in 2015 with clothing initially being sold on eBay and Amazon. Ben said that the reason he started was because of a time in his life that he weighed 30 stone. The business was funded through a large trust fund from Ben's grandfather.
He proudly told the Dragons that in 2021, Big Clothing 4 U turned over £2.9 million. At the time of recording, he said that in 2022, the business was estimated to turn over £3.5 million.
The reason Ben came onto Dragons' Den, is that he was "stuck" and looking to expand into the international markets. This is something that Touker will be able to help with going forward.
Who wears Big Clothing 4 U?
The brand attracts numerous famous people including Katie Price's son Harvey, World's Strongest Man competitor Laurence Shahlaei and Mitch Winehouse, father to the late Amy Winehouse.
Influencers such as Sugapuff, Steven McKell and Zeus also wear clothing from the site.
