The video shows dozens of dancers taking part in a Gay Gordons, accompanied by the Glasgow Folk Music Workshop, while a crowd of people clap along.
Captured by Andy Allison, the video has been liked by more than 2,000 people on the Scotland From The Roadside Facebook group, with many reminiscing on their memories of learning the dance at school. Many others said the outdoor ceilidh with its celebratory atmosphere was a brilliant idea.
