The Ministry of Health in Gaza has reported a significant increase in casualties over the past 24 hours due to Israeli military operations. According to official sources, 40 bodies have been brought into hospitals, and 58 individuals have sustained injuries.
The Ministry expressed concern that some victims remain trapped under rubble or in inaccessible areas where rescue teams are unable to reach them promptly.
One of the most tragic incidents occurred when a school compound in central Gaza was struck, resulting in the deaths of at least 22 people. Additionally, another strike in southern Gaza claimed more lives on the same day.
Since October 7, the cumulative death toll in Gaza has reached a staggering 41,431, with over 95,000 individuals reported injured, as per the Ministry's latest data.
The escalating violence in the region has raised international concerns, with calls for an immediate ceasefire and efforts to protect civilian lives gaining momentum.
