Dozens attended the book launch of a former ECHO journalist releasing his tell-all book.
Dozens gathered in The Casa Bar on Hope Street, to celebrate the launch of former ECHO writer, Paddy Shennan's brand new tell-all book, The Talk of Liverpool. Guests including Andy Burnham, Margaret Aspinall and Sue Roberts attended the launch of the book, which includes 33 years of conversations with Paddy's heroes and villains.
Paddy is a multi-award-winning journalist, whose name is known to thousands of Liverpool Echo readers. He wrote for The ECHO between 1987 and 2020, starting as a news reporter and progressing to the role of chief feature writer.

Paddy also had an opinion column, a television review page and co-authored a pub column which led to the Liverpool Echo Pub Guide book. Paddy Shennan was a leading authority on high-profile news stories including Hillsborough, the murder of James Bulger and the abduction of Madeleine McCann.
