Downing Street's resident mouse chaser was caught getting into a spat with a fox.
Larry the Cat is an icon who stands outside Number 10 protecting the property from rodents. But in a rare moment, the feisty cat was videoed taking on a pest double his size.
The cat came to blows with a fox who was prowling outside the Prime Minister's home. Eventually, the 15-year-old tabby was able to force his counterpart into retreating into nearby bushes.

However it wasn't over there as the cat wanted to warn the fox never to return and darted at the bushy tailed fox once more. The fox made a run for it before reappearing as it hid behind a lamppost and the animals engaged in a stare down.
The clip, which was captured by Sky News, ended with the fox sauntering away and Larry looking triumphant as he returned to his normal place on the step of Number 10.
The cat has a parody social media account on Twitter. After the vicious encounter, the account posted: "Someone at this address is up to the job...."
