Queues in Kent are beginning to ease after a three-day gridlock, the AA has said – but holidaymakers have been warned that they could face continued travel disruption across the summer.
Images and footage of snaking queues and bumper-to-bumper traffic in Dover and Folkestone flooded the news over the weekend as families hoped to make the most of the start to the school holidays.
