DoT notifies new authorisation norms for telcos to shift from licencing regime

New Delhi: Government has notified rules that operationalise a new authorisation-based framework in the telecom sector, marking a transition from the legacy licencing regime.

The Centre has also notified the 'Telecom eServices Portal' that enables the digital implementation of the provisions of the Telecom Act.
