A Dorset business founded by a former international ultra marathon runner is relocating to larger headquarters.
XMiles UK specialises in products and accessories for endurance sports and was set up in 2015 by athlete Anthony Clark, who represented England and Great Britain in competitions around the world.
The business is set to move around four miles away from its shop on Poole Road in Wimborne to a 3,000 sq ft premises on Ferndown industrial estate, north of Bournemouth.
The new facility will house XMiles’ storage and fulfilment operations, as well as provide offices and a larger showroom. It follows the expanding firm’s acquisition of online business Energy Snacks earlier this year.
Mr Clark, the company’s chief executive, said: “We are really pleased to take the next steps in the journey of developing the XMiles business, with the move into larger premises on the Ferndown Industrial Estate. We have found the perfect location that fits our operational needs for our current level of business and future expansion plans.”
XMiles said it would look to welcome customers into its new showroom from mid-December.
The company previously said it was looking to grow its current base of more than 30,000 active customers, 250,000 annual online visitors and 80 brand partners.
