Dorking Wanderers manager Marc White has highlighted his side's spirit as the most impressive factor from their display against Notts County, which brought an end to their unbeaten start to the season.
In a game that was largely dominated by the Magpies, a hat-trick from James McShane including two goals in added time in the second half, ensured the victory for Wanderers at Meadowbank Park despite Cedwyn Scott levelling the score five minutes into the second half.
In what was a frustrating afternoon for Luke Williams' side, surprisingly it was White who was unimpressed with his side's showing that afternoon.

Speaking after the game, White highlighted that his side were struggling with injuries throughout their squad and although that could have been a hinderance to his side, Dorking still managed to come away with the three points.
"Notts County have put out the same ten or eleven players for the last five games, we are the complete opposite," said White.
"We have got a mix and match, and I don't think more than two or three of those players have played consecutive games this season. We have players returning from injury and I want the fans to understand that.
"I was not happy with the performance today but what I was happy with was the Wanderers spirit, the fans' spirit, the players' spirit and it was fitting that McShane got his hat-trick."
Dorking lost one of their key players in Alfie Rutherford in their 5-0 defeat to Wrexham two weeks ago, with the club confirming the striker had ruptured his ACL and will miss the remainder of the National League season.
And those worries were worsened during their encounter with the Magpies, with White confirming a number of his players were carrying injuries during the game on Saturday, revealing he nearly had to take off McShane at half time.
"We had to make two early substitutions; we had players who were struggling to carry on.
"Alfie Egan has not kicked a ball for Boreham Wood all season, Niall McManus and Barry Fuller are returning from injury, Harry Ottoway has not played all season and has had to play a second 90 minutes in a week.
"James (McShane) came up to me at half time and said I might have to come off because he was struggling.
"If you go through our team one to eleven, it is a mixture of players who are injured, players who are coming back from injury who should not be playing, or people who have not played.
"It is very disjointed and sometimes, the football gods are there and today they were for us."
