Union Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal on Wednesday expressed confidence that India-US relations would continue to strengthen, describing the partnership as consequential and reassuring other countries that closer ties between New Delhi and Washington were no cause for concern.
Speaking at the Bloomberg New Economy Forum 2026, Goyal said the relationship between the two countries extended beyond trade to defence, technology, critical minerals and people-to-people ties.
