Donegal man fighting for life in Sydney hospital after being hit by an ambulance

A Co Donegal man is in "critical condition" in an Australian hospital after he was hit by an ambulance over the weekend.

Eoin Sweeney, 28, from Ballyliffin, suffered serious injuries to his head in the crash which happened in Sydney early on Sunday morning.

The Co Donegal man has been placed in an induced coma at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital after he was initially treated by paramedics at the scene.
